Director of Photography (DP) / Cinematographer

House of Virgo Entertainment, LLC can provide Director Of Photography (DP) Services, or cinematographer a film set. We will be responsible for creating and maintaining a look and feel for each scene; ensuring that lighting, composition, camera movement and angles all work together to create an aesthetically pleasing image.

We will works closely with the director and other members of the creative team to determine how best to visually represent the stories being told in the film, by carrying out the following duties and responsibilities: 

• Working with set designers to ensure that lighting, props, and other elements of the set are compatible with the camera equipment/lenses being used

• Setting up lighting equipment, cameras, and additional equipment (flags, c-stands, light scrims) needed for filming or photography sessions

• Supervising a film crew

• Shooting footage using various camera techniques such as pans, zooms, and close-ups

• Ensuring that all shots are framed properly, focus is accurate, and exposure levels are appropriate

• Overseeing the composition of shots so they are aesthetically pleasing and meet technical standards for resolution and focus
